UPS is walking for YvYa

The YvYa Foundation is a women-led initiative based in Eindhoven. This initiative is inspired by three ladies who personally battled breast cancer and crossed paths during their hospital treatments. Their shared mission is to raise awareness about the critical importance of early and painless breast cancer detection for women of all ages, with a specific focus on those under the age of 50. Remarkably, in the Netherlands, women in this age group currently lack access to any form of breast cancer screening. YvYa strives for a society in which a painless breast cancer screening is common for everyone.

Their primary goal for 2024 is to inform, unite, and mobilize women (and men) to rally behind the development of the Early Warning Scan (EWS).  The Early Warning Scan is a next generation screening method which detects breast cancer in its early stage with 52 Hyper spectrum camera’s, 3-D imaging, and AI technology. The Early Warning Scan is designed to only detect malignant abnormalities. This innovative technology, which extends beyond existing detection methods, will play a crucial role in surviving breast cancer and maintaining the quality of life.
